What to Know Before & After

HD Brow Spa Pre-Care

To achieve optimal results, prepare as follows:

• Refrain from tinting, waxing, threading, or plucking your brows for at least four weeks before your appointment to allow accurate assessment of your natural growth.

• Keep the brow area free from fake tan, gradual tan, or tinted moisturiser for 48 hours prior, as these can affect tint development.

• Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol, acids (AHA/BHA), scrubs, or exfoliating tools around the brow area for 72 hours before treatment.

• Limit sunbathing, sunbeds, saunas, and heat exposure for 24 hours before your appointment, as these can increase skin sensitivity.

• Do not use hair removal creams or bleaching products on the brow area for at least two weeks before your appointment.

• A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first treatment, or if it has been more than six months since your last visit.

• Arrive with clean skin around the eyes and brows, free from makeup, moisturiser, SPF, or facial oil.

• If you have any irritation, cuts, or rashes in the area, please inform me prior to your appointment.

Following these steps protects the skin barrier, ensures even tint application, and allows for a safe and comfortable treatment.

To maintain results and protect the skin:

• Keep the brow area dry for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms, swimming, or excessive sweating.

• Refrain from applying makeup, self-tan, or skincare products around the brows for 24 hours post-treatment.

• Do not use exfoliants, acids, or retinol near the brows for at least 72 hours after treatment.

• Avoid touching or rubbing the area to reduce irritation.

• Protect the skin with SPF after the first 24 hours and avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

• Condition daily with a nourishing brow oil or serum to maintain softness and hydration.

• Allow regrowth areas to remain untouched between appointments unless otherwise advised.

• Brush brows gently into place each morning to maintain shape.
